Thomas Film Classics was originally founded in 1974 by Dennis Thomas as an outlet for Classic movies on Super 8 MM Film. In 1977 this retail outlet became the world's first video movie store offering movies released on Beta and VHS for the collector. Dennis Thomas retired from retail in 1998 and upon retirement made it his mission to locate, preserve and offer to collectors the rare, hard to find classics that had fallen out of copyright and were now considered public domain.

It seems such a shame that so many wonderufl old gems have been neglected by the major distrobutors simply because public domain movies are not considered profitable. Finding good working material is not always easy. Because we are unable to work with original negatives or other prime working material we have to depend on the best source available. Over the years several collectors have shared their rare movies sets to help in our effort to offer the most extensive collection of wonderful old movies that might otherwise not be available. We sincerely believe that we are working with some of the best quality you will find anywhere.

While some dealers charge by the individual title making a big collection of 10 or 15 movie sets rather costly, we concentrate on offering complete sets at prices as much as 1/3 the cost of buying by the individual title.

PLEASE ALSO NOTE: I am always on the lookout for any other rare movie set or TV series and am always willing to trade or even pay cash. So if you have something you think I could use, please feel free to contact me.                Thomas Film Classics Disclaimer
